About Qi Gong

Qi Gong is a gentle yet profound practice that works with qi, the vital life force that flows through all living things. Through slow, mindful movement, conscious breathing, and quiet attention, Qi Gong invites the body to soften and the mind to settle, allowing energy to move more freely. Rooted in ancient Chinese wisdom, the practice supports balance on every level, physical, emotional, and subtle, helping us return to a natural state of ease and harmony.

About Sudakini

I have been exploring and teaching embodied practice for over 40 years, shaped by professional dance, somatic movement, meditation, Buddhist practice, and my work as a psychotherapist with an integrative, embodied approach.
Over time, I moved away from forms that ask the body to perform, and towards movement that listens — guided by sensation and the body’s own rhythms.
Studying with a teacher in Java, often outdoors in close contact with the natural environment, grounded my practice in the cycles and flow of nature. This became the foundation for all my dance and movement work that followed.
Qi Gong brings these threads together. It is meditation in movement — a gentle practice that trusts the body’s innate intelligence and natural capacity for balance and flow.
In my teaching, I offer a quiet, grounded space that honours each person’s rhythm, inviting ease and a sense of being at home in the body.
I’m based in Saltdean, Brighton & Hove, where I continue to practise and share Qi Gong.

Sudakini’s Qi-gong class has become my weekly reset. As someone new to Qi-gong, I’ve found it an incredible way to reconnect with my body and quiet my mind. She holds a warm, relaxed, and safe space, always adapting the practice with care and sensitivity. James
Sudakini’s QiGong class is a pleasure and a healing space. Sudakini invites the group into a calm and concentrated state through movement, breath, images of nature and the elements and I feel a flow of qi/energy that is energising, enriching and cleansing. Gina

Sudakini’s Qigong classes are really enjoyable. Taught with care and precision as well as warmth and ease, I leave the class feeling relaxed and calm. I love the gentle exercise and the way Sudakini explains the connection between the movements, the world and elements. It’s a holistic practice I look forward to each week. Catherine
I was surprised that something so gentle and soothing could be so energising. I loved how I left the room with more energy but also a greater tranquility. Thank you. Lucy
